City tailors always do an exceptional job with all my clothes and charge a very fair price with quick turn around period too! I would recommend City Tailors to anyone. Just the most perfect service and final piece! Ben instantly made me feel at ease when I asked if he could alter my mums wedding dress for me. Even when I asked if it could be done in weeks rather than months he never batted an eyelid! So calm and professional and managed my expectations so incredibly well. The dress I left with was a beautiful timeless piece perfectly tailored to myself while honouring what my mum had worn 40 years earlier. City Tailors is a proper tailors shop with a skilled workforce that is all too rare these days. I ordered a bespoke two piece suit for my forthcoming wedding and I am delighted with it. Ben Aydin offer excellent advice on styles, cloth, patterns, colours, based on a seasoned insight into the customer’s needs. The work is of recognisable Savile Row standards and the price is less than half the price charged by Savile Row outlets in Bath such as Gieves and Hawkes. This is because Ben puts quality and substance of the product ahead of fancy marketing and expensive shop space. Instead you will find Ben and his team by ringing a doorbell in the high street and proceeding to his first floor tailoring workshop and fitting rooms. Unlike other high street tailors Ben will produce practically any bespoke garment project you wish to discuss. You won’t get anything near the quality off the peg and Savile Row tailors charge at least double for bespoke. City Tailors is without doubt my recommended go to tailor in Bath .

With patience, expertise and good humour Ben turned my vague ideas into exquisite reality – at a very reasonable price and all at a time when the team were busy with the summer rush (and it’s easy to see why they are so popular!) Their communication is brilliant and I never once felt uneasy that it wouldn’t be done on time or anything of the sort. This was my first experience of having tailor-made clothes and it was a complete joy!

Ben and the team at Bath City Tailors altered my wedding dress which needed a lot of restructuring and adjustments as it was several sizes too big. They did a fantastic job and Ben knew exactly what needed doing to get the dress to look perfect. I felt my dress was in safe hands throughout the process. Service is brilliant and the team is very friendly, I didn’t feel rushed at all when making decisions and nothing was too much to ask. The price was very reasonable, even though I think a lot of time went into the job as it wasn’t straightforward. I can’t recommend Bath City Tailors enough!
