Stayed at the campsite on the showground. It's a bit basic but there's loads of room. A good site to use if you're visiting Shrewsbury, it's a 15 minute walk into town. The lady in the office is lovely and very welcoming.

We the camping facilities here and were greeted by Sue, the most helpful friendly and enthusiastic warden I have ever encountered, she is a credit to the site. This is a great location for exploring Shrewsbury, it's a 15-20 minute walk to town, and the surrounding area. It's a vast site with plenty of room and a mixture of pitches. The shower cubicles are more like a small ensuite, the toilet block is a little basic in a good way but very clean and tidy. To cap it all the laundry facilities are free of charge. Overall highly recommended, I'm sure we will be returning.
