These are very unprofessional “gardeners”, they were hired first to repair a fence, which they did but didn’t finish. It was until we called them to trim some overhanging tree branches that they finished fixing the first job. They tried to overcharge me last minute for the job but I didn’t accept and they backed off. They were not careful with our plants, they killed a few, but as they were different guys coming to do the jobs we let that pass. But on the last time we called them they made a very big mess of something quite simple. They didn’t respect the dates we agreed, I had to talk to the neighbours as we were cutting a tree. The gardeners kept asking to change the date, then they wanted to come when we were out, they hired a skip and a chipper. The chipper from HSS Welling, they were saying the chipper was not working, HSS exchanged the chipper for another one and still they couldn’t chip any of the tree. Most of it went to the skip. The day they came to take down the tree, they didn’t bring equipment, it was one guy climbing this tree and a boy to assist him. They were clueless as to how to take down the tree, my husband had to give them ideas and lent them ropes and equipment. They had to prepare an area to install the base for a greenhouse, two guys came and sat on the garden most of the day, trying to work out the chipper until I gave up. They told me they had prepared the area as agreed, but they only cut the weeds, they never dug. It was a long and painful mess, the worst was when they had to refund the money for the chipper. According to them, HSS Welling has not refunded them my £315. This was mid September and they keep hiding, I have only been given £50 and they said they were going to deposit £50 a week. Now they’re hiding. Obviously I wasn’t happy but short of going to the small claims court I didn’t have many options. I have proof of the bank transfers and all the conversations with the details. They blocked me from their Facebook page. I hope nobody else gets scammed as I did. Services: Fencing installation, Yard work
