Abbey Road recycling centre is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays hence Greenford is open for Brent residents. I booked at 9am for a same day 10am slot. I arrived at 9.15am and they let me in without any hassle. The staff are helpful and tell you where to dump if unsure. It's pretty small, but as I go once a year its fine. Glad Greenford accepts Brent waste on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Staff are good, if you are early, they are considerate and will let you go through if its not busy. On the other hand if you are more than 10 mins late, they will stop you. Booking a slot is easy but if you rearrange/modify the original appt and later want to cancel the modified appt completely-there is no option. I tried calling the Centre but no one answers the phone. Shame as someone else could use the appt. They need to correct their computer system.
