Not very helpful. Went a couple of times. Heard one member telling racist jokes. Didn't go again. Although this was a couple of years ago so things may have changed since then.

Model Aeroplane Club - awesome people. I went to ask permission to fly my drone for practicing for my PfCO exam and they let me fly. The club has some amazing model aircraft which is absolutely stunning and have great talents and wonderful people. You can't turn up and fly here. You need to be member of the club and have appropriate insurance and most importantly obey the laws of Air and others... Weekends are normally busy with loads of kids playing football & dog walkers. Another great place.
