This companies goal is to force vulnerable people into the workplace through the Richmond fellowship. It doesn't matter whether the person can deal with the stress or not. I was with them for three years and it was all they went on about. No proper treatment at all and a general feeling that the mentally ill are just lazy and should be working. I think they must get some financial incentive from working with the Richmond fellowship.A place where suicides are the name of the game also. Google Richmond fellowship and see how badly they treat people. Avoid both.

I've given two stars because the receptionist was really kind and considerate of our needs. However, the "professional" we saw for the assessment was rude, insensitive, and Patronising! Telling someone with poor mental health and learning difficulties making them vulnerable to "Just go down the job centre (WITHOUT MUM BECAUSE YOU'RE 18!) and ask about what benefits you can get" is not only insensitive considering they've never used public transport alone before and needs someone there to remember or take notes on their behalf! They're now questioning whether they're a financial burden on us!! That's Not OK. Our financial situation is none of your business. We came to you for help, not advice on how to live or mask conditions in society!! You have no idea the full extent of why we had to see you, just picked at a few issues and just decided to "tell them off" for not pulling their weight!! My advice is to steer clear of this place. This was outpatients! I dread to think what it's like in residential but judging by the reviews, I rest my case. Kindness and compassion cost nothing, and make a positive difference in someone's life!

Shame you can't rate 0 starts. Avoid at all costs. They will make your mental health worse.

Easy to escape if dedicated, lunch was ok. Wood plank for bed uncomfortable but the prison like vibes really set the mood. Unnecessary drugs offered, which was nice although I had to decline the generous offer before me

My sister recently got moved here from CAMHS. Their helpline is useless. She called after almost attempting and the person she spoke to told her to make a hot drink and said she should be happy to be alive. Furthermore her new psychiatrist told her that if she tried to hurt herself without calling their helpline he would discharge her. Disgusting behaviour for a place which is supposed to help people’s’ mental health, not abandon them.

All staff members are very friendly and professional, however, if they could just get over this new directive from central government that smoking must be banned on all NHS sites the place might actually be a tolerable one in which to receive treatment. Those stars are for the staff not the hospital. As it is, with this attitude to smoking, the result is of inflicting psychological cruelty on psychiatric patients, it creates a Stanford prison experiment attitude of us and them between staff members and patients and until it´s addressed properly and patients can once again smoke in this hospital´s seemingly purpose built garden, I ought not really give it even a single star. To get a fifth star the staff here need to abandon this jobsworth attitude and start really dealing with the needs of the many patients who smoke rather than disingenuously, and temporarily, cutting off their ability to do so, that approach would never work in the long term.

Efficient and modern. Does not do complex operations etc. But otherwise is a good option.
