Stunning gardens to visit, and also a lovely affordable place to stay. The garden is in its spring bloom and was so enjoyable to walk round. And as we stayed the night we had the area to ourselves at the start of the day, making it extra special. We also enjoyed the cafe and sat in the sunshine. Would recommend a visit

Bea Hello
On Monday March 27th I attended the 'planting for all year round colour'. It was a brilliant day from beginning to end. Most of the day is inside with Fiona explaining how to choose plants that will suit your garden soil, and as the title says give colour all year. Most of us who attended were enthusiastic beginners, and I have to say I learnt such a lot , with pad and pencil at the ready to take all the notes and ideas Fiona provides during the day. Most enjoyable and really worth every penny. Thank you Fiona

I first visited when I conducted a wedding ceremony a few years ago. I was struck by how beautiful, colourful and relaxed the setting was, with mature trees and fabulous planting. I returned to buy plans from the nursery and to explore the Autumn colour. I have been wanting to revamp my front garden and when I saw Fiona's one day design course I took the plunge. The course was great, Fiona covered a lot of ground and gave so many tips. As with any design purpose, attention to detail and patience are key and Fiona's suggestions gave me some new things to think about as well as the confidence to use the skills I already have. I am really looking forward to putting what I learnt into practice. There was a lot of content so although some of us brought in ideas there wasn't time to look at these. Perhaps a follow-up where we could talk through our ideas would be good? The course was great value for money and gave a really good grounding in techniques as well as ideas for planting.

Beautiful gardens! The food was also delicious! Fabulous staff who were friendly and let us wait for our taxi inside rather than staying out in the cold
