I very recently purchased a pair of Salewa lightweight walking boots from Great Western Camping. Mark gave me good advice about the options, with no pressure, and he was able to secure the ones which I felt suited me best. I put them to the test straight away on a walking holiday in Scotland, rain, bogs, rock etc, and they were really good. These replace a pair of boots I purchased from Great Western Camping about 15 years ago which are just starting to give up after extensive use, so I am confident these new boots will be long lasting too!

Amazing shop, brilliant customer service. Worlds apart from the chain camping shops. Ordered through click and collect, out of working hours and first thing the next morning I got an email notifying me that my items were ready. Parked close to the store, went in and everything was ready. Staff were attentive and helpful. Bought a couple of things I couldn’t find anywhere else and also got some useful advice. All within 5 minutes. I can’t recommend this place enough. I look forward to returning when I have a bit more time. Thanks guys!
