This is a fantastic store full of locally made produce. It has a very good quality butchers, cheese counter. Homemade cakes, tarts. Local gins, jams, chutneys and a very small cafe. Honestly the list is never ending. The quality of course does come at premium price. If you want something that is from the local area this is definitely the place to visit. It is in part of the Waitrose building but it is a separate business you just have to pay for your Cornish goods before you leave to go into Waitrose. The store sells the best of Cornish produce. The fishmonger only sells fresh Cornish fish which comes from local markets, so don't be surprised if what you want isn't available because it's out of season. The counter is open every day except Monday, as there are no fish markets over the weekend, and closed on the Tuesday after a Bank Holiday Monday. We had lunch in the cafe. I had a crab sandwich with lemon mayonnaise. The bread was good, but I was uninspired by the crab filling - I couldn't detect any lemon at all, and it was pretty light on seasoning. The cafe is pleasant, as are the staff.
