I was on holiday and as a keen sewist was delighted to come across this shop. As soon as I opened the door I felt to be in a happy place. I didn’t have anything specific in mind and the lovely sales assistant made me feel welcome but not pressured into buying, and I enjoyed some blissful browsing. Browsing inevitably turned into buying as this shop stocks a beautifully curated bit of everything to satisfy the garment sewist as well as the quilter. I bought some gorgeous stretch fabric (which I have already turned into a sweater), two lengths of very interesting viscose, some upholstery fabric, some lovely buttons and a few haberdashery Nik Naks. They also sell a lot of lovely trims. Above and beyond what they have on offer to buy in store, it is clear they offer a warm, passionate, creative space for anybody to enjoy. The ladies I spoke to (Rachel and Chrissy the owner) were so interested, knowledgeable and definitely part of this glorious sewing ‘tribe’ I have come to love. Thank you ladies, you gave me memories I will cherish.

super lovely and helpful ladies in the shop helped me when I was having a very indecisive day and needed to pick a material for my craft market stall display!! they even offered my dad a cuppa whilst he was waiting for me to get my act together 😄 Great shop with a huge selection of fabrics, highly recommend!!

Awesome service from the ladies in this shop. Had a tired old hallway telephone seat that needed an overhaul and this material did the job nicely. Very reasonable pricing, attentive service, even explained how best to do it. If all shops were as great as this our town centres would be thriving again.
