I am retired now, but I spent 54 years a motor engineer working on mostly British cars. Coming here today took me back right to when I was an apprentice. The early 70's was bad when the factories went on strike every 10 minutes. That was the start of the killing off of the car industry in this country. Having said this, this museum is excellent, and with it just being British made it even more enjoyable. Also all the old garage signs were good too. I will come back.

Went last year whilst on holiday and revisited recently with relatives. You are supplied with earphones and a device to listen to which gives so much information. There's q codes which you can scan on certain cars which gives additional information about that car. Excellent cafe as well that serves hot food. The cornish pasties looked inviting.
