    CON - RIP OFF - UNTRUSTWORTHY - DISHONEST & FRAUDSTERS - AVOID AVOID AVOID GARAGE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT My car brokedown (needed Clutch replacement) and RAC said Great Barr MOT & Service are their are approved garage. Garage they said they will not be able to tell me when car will be ready or what the fault was to start with despite RAC advising them it was a clutch issue; first it was 2, 3days etc... then they said they were under the impression the AA was going to pay, then they came up with another excuse that a warranty company was going to pay (despite advising them on day one that I will be the one paying for it) They initially quoted me that it was an 8 hour job and it will cost me including parts and labour £547.00 inc VAT; I disputed the labour and the time it takes for replacing clutch. I advised them of the comparision from other garages that maximum other independent garages chare are between £350 to £400 and Lee advised that inc VAT, it would cost me £487.00 for parts and labour and I agreed. after 8 days, I went in the afternoon and the car was already done (in less than 5 hrs) and I was charged 7 hr labour. and the amount of £567.00 when disputed the charges, I was informed that the conversation never took place and he does not recollect the conversation. The only thing he recollect I asked them to fix the car and that about it. I would like to warn other unsuspecting customers to AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs unless you have lot of money to spare. The people running this place have got no integrity, respect and they are DISHONEST. Services: Transmission repair, Transmission
