Well this was one of the best courses I've ever played. The course is well built with tree lined fairways on most of the holes and is a great challenge, especially from the white tees The fairways were lovely, fantastic lie every time and the greens were consistant and running at a fair speed(except the 16th, see below). The clubhouse was modern and well appointed. On the down side the car park is quite small (there didn't appear to be an overflow anywhere) and the parking spots very narrow for the modern car. Finally as promised a mention for the 16th green, a portion of the green has quite a severe slope and the hole was positioned in right the middle of it. Unless you hit past the hole you had no chance of stopping a putt anywhere near it. I imagine 5 or 6 putts are often seen there, shame it rather spoilt the course I thought.

Great course, well laid out, pro shop fairly well stocked. Bar very nice with views over the course, bar staff exceptional and the Special Turkey Bap was just right, going back with our society very soon and looking forward to it.

An absolutely stunning course and probably my favorite of the ones played this side of Brum. Always really well maintained, not too challenging and it's never too congested. It also helps that it's reasonably priced, even on the weekends (£15 for 9).
