Food good value. Good choice of food. Team pleasant. Okay for young families with children... not the place for a quiet day out. Tables always need a clean but that is due to staff being a bit stretched.

We visited over the weekend for a quick bite to eat. Although the food was Ok, it was filthy dirty with sticky tables and bar also tables that were not cleared for well over an hour. Waitress delivering food to tables and just walking back past tables full of plates and not clearing anything. Glasses piled up at the end of the bar and a kitchen that was running out of plates. So disappointed in the state of the place as we have supported this place from when it was converted from a derelict barn when it was probably less sticky and slightly cleaner. Our son went the following day and said it was exactly the same. Come on Hungry Horse let's have a good clean and at least train the staff to carry an empty plate we wasn't the only one to complain aloud (every table around us) but we were the only ones to bring it to the attention of the duty manager.
