If you have mental health issues and have been referred here then for your sake find somewhere else. Been known to the service for many years and have been passed around & ignored constantly. After requesting my data they have also breached the Data Protection Act by not giving it within 30 days. Makes mental health worse, constant excuses, even calling up to request speaking to a manager I never received anything back. Also working with other services whose emails have been constantly ignored, even teams meetings have been missed. Meant to have support worker and care coordinator but not getting the support or any care coordination. And unfortunately the sick thing is that other services have to go through grays hall to get anywhere relating to mental health services so I am literally screwed by being under Grays Hall. The care for people suffering from serious mental health issues is scary, and I only see it getting worse. Please for your sake push everything you can to get under other services and away from this damaging practice.

Extremely poor service. Do not follow up or check up on patients. Made no attempt to help me. Discharged me without making me aware, will not see you face-to-face. I never received any useful help from this practice, was only ever told: “you’re not severe as others” “You’re symptoms aren’t often enough for a diagnosis” How are people supposed to make progress with their mental illness when this is how you’re spoke to? And no follow up phone calls as I was told I would receive. The system is failing us.

Constantly fighting for the right level of care and never receiving it. Clearly overworked staff that have no time for their patients and their ability to keep them safe and respond to them with empathy and like they are a person. Placed an official complaint and they were unable to fulfil the only request I had while it was being investigated.

If I could give zero stars I would. They do not help. Nor even try. Was under their care years ago for approx 2.5 years in which I saw someone once. Later after some issues I Found out I was "under their care" for almost a year. Yet zero correspondence from them. Contacted them to sort my adhd referral out as advised by Thurrock inclusion, Grays Hall proceded to say that the questionnaire I used has little to NO impact or use to help in diagnoses. Had to fight for a consultation which was a 6 min phone call and never heard back from them ever again. 5 months ago. I have since gone private and am receiving the care I need. No thanks to Grays Hall.
