Have been there twice in the last month thanks to tonsillitis (the most recent was today!). I have seen two lovely doctors and everyone else was really nice too. Today I was told I would have a long wait, but that was only an hour or so. My prescriptions were sent straight to the ASDA pharmacy to pick up and everything was really smooth.

I visited today for a minor injury after being recommended to go by my local pharmacist, and was seen so so quickly and greeted by a lovely reception team! I then saw Lorna before being pass onto Louise and Bal, who were all very efficient and took great care of me. I’ve had quite a few major health issues in the past few years so it’s always great when the staff make you feel relaxed when feeling anxious. I was treated there and sent home with further treatment, with everything explained to me in detail and was told to come back if I had an issues. Amazing staff and made me feel at ease straight away!! X

I have arrived today with my daughter for blood tests, the first time for her. When I went inside, of course my daughter was scared and started to cry, but unfortunately this time I didn't meet a nurse with patience and understanding. The same nurse who bruised my hand 2 weeks ago when she took 4 blood tubes from me in less than 30 seconds. Out of fear, my daughter moved her hand and started to cry and the nurse said that they were too busy and could not wait for her. I asked her to have a little patience and understanding that she is just a child and that we need to have those blood tests done for her health. We went out and took another ticket to try again, although we had to wait another 20-30 minutes. Fortunately, a much more understanding nurse came to us and took my daughter in gently and patiently for tests. I succeeded with the help of the good will and patience shown by this nurse. I understand the situation the NHS is going through and the frustration of NHS members, but I cannot understand this lack of compassion towards a child crying and being afraid of needles.
