Really wish the council would put some time and effort into making the market and historic high street a place for people to go to again. Limited footfall and lack of anything really worth going to see except food joints, it's a real disappointment when it has so much potential.

Utterly ruined by the town planners. Once a bustling covered market, no more. The adjacent open market now a tall block of flats, making the area dark and foreboding even in daylight.

Visited the Christmas market here, is a local indoors market, everyone very friendly and nice and smiley on a cold day, stopped for a coffee and pancake for my daughter which was great and she lived it. Bought few bits and pieces for Christmas, visited Santa and mu daughter wrote a letter to Santa and posted it through.
