Nick did an amazing job installing 2 Edwardian marble fireplaces from Chesneys. Including new sleeves, new chimney pots and a lot of clearing out l. Commissioning is the only thing they don’t do. Photos to follow!

Grate Fires have just installed a stunning limestone fire place with slate slips and hearth for me. (goods supplied by Chesneys). I found them enthusiastic and easy to work with. Nick (from Grate Fires) was my point of contact and since his first visit to my property has been superb. During the current Covid-19 situation I didn't think it would be possible to have the surround etc. fitted but a practical solution was found and the work was carried out very professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services. Thank you.

I rang Grate Fires on two occasions and spoke to the woman who answered the 'phone and explained that I wanted to speak to someone about having a gas fire installed. She said she would speak to the installation person and get back to me. I rang a third time and left a message on their answerphone. I've not had a response from any of my calls. A really poor customer services system which has left me baffled as to what services they offer.
