Booked Sunday lunch here when staying in the area. Very uncomfortable start when we were pointed at a table and then ignored for 10 minutes until we flagged someone down. However the starters (roast cod loin) and Sunday roast beef were excellent and suitable service effort was made to retrieve the situation. Some nice tables outside in the sunshine make it look like a good place for an alfresco drink.

We like to stay in Grassington house, good location. The rooms are all different. All of the staff are helpful and provide good service. On our recent visit we had an excellent meal-- halibut with ravioli. The fish was perfect. The breakfast wins rightly awards, with the friendliest waitress. We look forward to our next visit

We didn't stay here, but ate here twice - in the bar and restaurant (which have the same menu.) We were impressed by the quality of the food both times - both fish and fillet steak. The service was good and we enjoyed the drinks. Not cheap, I have to say, but well worth it
