(Translated by Google) Terrible!! The curtains were dirty, the bathroom is much too small. The sleeping lamps almost seemed to fall off the wall. I personally would never want to go back nor recommend anyone to go here. (Original) Verschrikkelijk!! Waarschijnlijk was iemand in onze kamer geweest zonder toestemming.

(Translated by Google) How to start? The first room we got was so small that I couldn't even sit on the toilet, I got so nervous. They added another third room to the next room and it already had at least a bigger bath and a toilet where you could comfortably sit. Such a place should not be called a hotel or a hostel, but a hole.. And the relevant institutions should withdraw the status of this facility and the hygiene should close it because of the stench and dirt.. And unfortunately only London has completely disappointed and if people support this, don't be surprised that they sell rooms . I strongly do not recommend immediately turning around and asking for compensation and bad accommodation according to hygiene. A príslušné inštitúcie by mali odobrať štatút tomuto zariadeniu a hygiena by to mala zavrieť sade smrad a špina ..

We just returned from a week-long vacation in London and stayed at the Grapevine. We have no regrets! This is a low cost-effective hotel option for staying in London. If you're going to be out and about most of the days sight-seeing, then this hotel is a great fit and value. Certainly I have stayed in nicer hotels and even hostels during different trips, but again this hotel is all about the value in the heart of London. The neighborhood is nice; quite. There are convenient stores and restaurants all within walking distance. The Victoria Bus Station as well as the Victoria Underground station are all within walking distance. The staff was always very nice and attentive to any needs we may have had. With that said, we always kept in mind the low price we paid and we did not bring every little thing to their attention. We arrived a few hours before the check-in at 2:30pm. The staff allowed us to drop off our luggage off in a community room downstairs. We then started exploring the city! Upon our return way past 2:30pm, more like 8:00pm, our bags were still there waiting for us :) Our room was on the 2nd floor (3rd floor by USA count) and there is no elevator. We had a pretty view of the street/historic buildings in the area. I will say I found our bed very comfortable, though the pillows were certainly not the fluffiest pillows ever lol. There was a television with just a handful of stations, mostly BBC; though we were not there to watch tv. There was also complimentary Wi-Fi. We had our own bathroom in our room. I will say bathrooms on a cruise ship are more spacious lol But who cares, it's London! The sink was located outside the bathroom in the hotel room. Inside the bathroom, the lights above the shower flickered; the hot water was in and out; the toilet constantly was running; and the bathroom door would only stay shut if locked from the inside. If no one was using the bathroom, the door would want to swing open. but again, we paid a great price and we were in London, so we really were not in the room much and we could over look these items. We did have to make our own bed and take the trash out as needed. But at least for myself, I did not mind this. Heck, in hotels I have stayed at with housekeeping, I still take the trash out myself and 'make' the bed (though not as pretty as housekeeping does). I do not believe in leaving a mess for housekeeping. With that said, I did have to go down to the front desk just once, on our very last night, to ask for a roll of toilet paper as we had ran out. And of course, the staff member was happy to provide one to us. After a week, we left somewhat early for the airport; all we had to do was drop the key into a drop-box. Note: There is a staff member on duty for the hotel only between the hours of 9:00am and 11:00pm or so. We really have no regrets staying at the Grapevine. We saved a lot of money and were in a great area with friendly hotel staff.

Worst hotel I've ever seen in my life. I added pictures of rats walking around at night in the hotel. London City Hall needs to shut this place down. I will file a complaint. Rooms: too bad. disgrace.
