We just returned from a fantastic trip to the Champagne Region planned by Grape Escapes for our 50th wedding anniversary. Every aspect of the trip was marvelous from the driver picking us up at our Paris hotel, staying and being pampered at the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa and our visits to the various champagne houses. Lunches and dinners with tastings were spectacular, especially the Prestige Dinner at Le Parc at Chateau Les Crayeres. Every service provided was excellent and we look forward to planning another Grape Escapes adventure!

8 of us travelled to Champagne to experience the "24 in 24" tour. We had a fantastic time! We decided to drive over and spend an extra night in the hotel and this was arrange by GrapeEscapes. The hotel was lovely and ideally located; the choice of wineries was varied and gave the opportunity to try lots of different styles of champagne; dinner and lunch was both exquisite - lunch at Au36 was a definite highlight with the combination of 5 different champagnes and local cuisine proving a hit with the entire group.. We had one blip when we arrived at the first tasting house to find it closed, but a quick call to the help line number had the matter resolved within minutes. All in all a very memorable trip and we give full marks to the team!

What can we say :) Just back from our wine tour of Bordeaux (Right & Left Banks) and Rioja with a lay over in San Sebastian in between. Special thanks to Rachel and the Grape escapes team for a truly special wine tour which we will cherish the memories for the rest of our days. With a few bottles of fine wine acquired from the special vineyards visited along the way to help with the memories ! Everything went to plan with superb locations, hotels, food and, of course, the vineyards and wine. And, most importantly, the people; the grape escapes team, the local tour and vineyard guides and also the staff at the hotels - were all so helpful. My husband and I spent our memorable wedding anniversary and his birthday in Reims- the champagne capital. The trip was expertly organised by Grapeescapes staff! The hotel was perfect- La Paix- in a great position for sightseeing and eating out. The champagne house tours were excellent, especially at Mumm champagne with a brilliant tour guide Lily! They helped us book tours in the Champagne region and everything from the hotel to the vineyards we visited was fantastic. I booked a trip in March 2023 for my husband’s 50th birthday. I could not fault it, as it exceeded my expectations and my husband was blown away. We had 7 tours/tastings booked and after the first one, we did wonder if we would be hearing the same thing at each one but they were all different and at each one we learnt something new with a different perspective. We went to the major large champagne houses and to a small end to end run process which enabled us to see how different things are depending on where you go. A couple of the trips were tasting only and we had time to look around the area. For example one tasting was in Hautevillers which is where Dom Perignon’s Abbey is and we learnt about this at the Dom Perignon tour. We were told to go there if we had chance and we were disappointed as we didn’t think it was on our tour, but it was actually our next stop so we were really able to get a feel for it. The food was also incredible and as I’d more or less left the whole arrangements up to Grape Escapes, I wasn’t 100% sure of our itinerary. So, it was lovely to find that we had a glass of champagne on arrival at the hotel, wine with our first meal and then a glass of champagne as an aperitif for our second meal and a full bottle of champagne and two glasses of red with the meal. I kept thinking that I was going to get a bill at the end but it was all included in the price. The hotel was also superb and the staff were excellent and we couldn’t want for anything. I would 100% recommend Grape Escapes to anyone and have already done so. As a result we may now be looking to do more wine tasting trips and would only go back to them. Specific shout out to Lucy Bate who organised our trip for us and was fantastic!
