A friend took me here for food the last time I was working in Birmingham (10 years ago). I've been sent back again and found the place by accident as it's round the corner from where I'm staying, what a great coincidence. The foods excellent, the service is super friendly. Every street corner should have a Granny's takeaway to feed the hungry souls.

Nice little spot. Wish we could have tried more but we just weren't hungry enough. Patties were good. Pastry was more like that of a cornish pasty but hey the filling hit the spot! Definitely worth a shout. This place is clearly a popular spot.

Came up from London, was tired of all the commercial chains in the city center, this place does real carribean food, the rice and peas is next level good, I mean, you won't find better rice anywhere else, had it with fried snapper fish and steamed veg which was well spiced, lovely meal, dont be put off by the budget style of the shop, the food is on point! Cash only so take some change with you.
