I was keen to revisit this restaurant, as the pancakes I ate on my first visit were fabulous. However, my repeat visit was most disappointing. There appeared to be a good number of floor staff but their efficiency was poor and lacked attention (never actually directly looking at people to see if they needed anything (in fact the obvious seemed to be happening!)). It took us ages to order and the waitress looked baffled at any specific request e.g., dressing on the side! It also took a long time for the food to arrive with no apology for this. The grilled chicken salad bowl was mediocre at best (chicken overcooked and dry), and the coconut and turmeric daal although tasty was swimming in a huge dish (and rice was additional which was odd as I don't know how you would eat all that daal without rice (super rich!). All in all, came out feeling flat and wouldn't return again, quality (food and service) simply wasn't matching up to price. Since writing this review, the Customer Experience Manager has taken time to speak with me and I appreciated her willingness to discuss the experience in more detail. I feel confident that the feedback was taken on board and I am willing to try the restaurant again and also to visit Granger & Co. in other locations.
