Nearby activities: Losts of beaches and walks near by, Clacton and Frinton are super close by too for arcades and fish and chips Safety: The site is very safe with key coded gates for campers only. Walkability: The high street is a cute 15min walk away through picturesque fields. Plenty of circular walks in the area too. Noteworthy details: This is a very peaceful back to basics campsite. It's very well maintained, practical camp spaces and lush greenery. People have mentioned noise from the train tracks but we were as close as you can get (2 fields away) and it's a very low rumble if anything and I think adds to the rural countryside feel. Clean showers with plenty of hot water. Really pleasant campsite.

We have stayed at this campsite a few times whilst visiting the area. The facilities are excellent including a new shower and toilet block. Grange Farm is located less than a 10 minutes walk to a bus stop, train station and the village of Thorp , which has a Tesco and a variety of pubs, restaurants and take aways. I would highly recommend Grange Farm if visiting Clacton, Walton and Colchester as in my opinion this is the best located and value for money campsite in the area.
