Is this really a 4-stars hotel? The room is filthy and noisy. I was sent to a basement room with no natural light, the room is smelly with the dirtiest carpet I have ever seen and the room is infested with moths and flies, which because of my allergy made me sick. I’m sure other rooms might be better, but when I asked to change they said no. I won’t recommend, never again. Rooms: Terrible

Good service, superb location, but hotel room was a bit dated. The walls are thin that I could here people going in and out of the elevator. Breakfast buffet is the same everyday. Oh, skip the coffee. It was meh.

Decent enough for a one night business trip, but glad I'm not a tourist staying here for a few days. Rooms are spacious but in need of a good deep clean and renovation (like the rest of the hotel). The bed was ok and the sheets were clean. Radiators were throwing out enough heat to warrant complaints from Greenpeace. Why on earth the heating is set that high is anyones guess. Tea and coffee facilities are very basic (the coffee in particular was horrible). No bottled water or fridge either. The shower was a pathetic luke warm dribble. The breakfast was just about passable. Usual continental stuff, which were ok, but the 'English' breakfast components were poor. I don't know how much they usually charge but you're better off saving it and going to the nearby Wetherspoons instead. Staff were friendly enough, and checking in was quick despite there being a queue. Location is good - 5 mins from Holborn/Russell Sq tube, 2 mins from the British Museum and about 15 mins walk from Leicester Square.

Ok hotel. Clean, not particularly fresh design but not awful, friendly staff, convenient, not particularly cheap, a decent place to sleep with a good breakfast - biggest problem is the noise through the ceiling from the floor above, kept waking me up early in the morning! Looking forward to getting home for a proper sleep 😐
