Went for Father's Day afternoon tea. Boys and girls waiting on were very patient and helpful. We did have to remind them we had been waiting a while as a couple of tables were served before us although they came in later, probably because it was very busy and they were run off their feet. Two issues with the place that need fixing though, first the toilets on the day only one was working for both males and females, two parking. The car park is murder to get in and out especially when busy. Maybe a sign on the road to say when full and a sign to alternative parking off site would help. Other than that the food was good, ice creams fantastic and location on the water lovely.

We sat outside in the hot sun and ate a nice bacon muffin. Inside seating also available overlooking the canal. Coffee was good too.

The service extremely slow and couldnt deliver correct orders to anyone.. Had to keep shouting for things we were still waiting for. We had to order food to sit down so ordered breakfast muffins. We couldn't fault the food. They bought out the ice-cream sundae before the hot food. And wondered round aimlessly with the sundae. We told the waitress that who would want the pudding first! After muffin we changed our mind about the sundae and just had scoops if icecream in a wafer dish.. This was very good. Pity the service and poor management let it down. maybe staff training?
