Absolutely horrible hotel. Rooms are gross and falling apart. I took photos of the issues and should the front desk staff and they didn't seem to care. Online it looks nice but in reality it's in shambles. Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 1/5 | Location : 1/5 … More

4 stars hotel means high level in many parts, but not in this hotel during a week experience for many reasons: 1. Be aware that you may find a rat or mouse in your room since it happened to me in room 209, and they bring me the next day apple and banana a complementary to be silent. 2. I didn't get any help on transferring, and I was moving my luggage alone around 12 AM. 3. I was transferred to room 504, which it had bad maintenance, such as a broken window, while the weather was very cold and the street was full of noise all day long. 4. The hotel overall is old with poor servic, so it is possible to not have your room cleaned or not having the towels changed or not see the room service at all. 5. The floor is wood, which is acceptable, but not at that level since you will hear footsteps for someone who comes from the elevator (lift). 6. It is possible that someone you don't know who that person is, come to your room around 7 AM with a valid key. 7. The furniture is very old, and expect you will have an uncomfortable bed. I don't recommend this hotel because I don't want anyone to face what I faced during that miserable experience. Rooms: Very small and not clean with bad service

(Translated by Google) Very good location, fantastic service, the only thing that I would highlight in a negative way, the size of the room and the bathroom, too small. (Original) Muy buena ubicación, el Servicio fantástico, lo único que destacaría de manera negativa, el tamaño de la habitación y del baño, demasiado pequeñas. Rooms: Pequeña, incluido el baño.

We had an underground room; It was clean and tidy, staffs were so nice but the room was so small and didn't have any sunlight.

(Translated by Google) The reality was not as in the pictures, the rooms are very narrow, and they put me and my friend a king bed, so I asked them for a single bed for each one, and they did not cooperate with us throughout our stay for a week, but rather asked 240 pounds for changing the bed 👎🏻 The location of the hotel is nice, next to Hyde Park (Original)

I was very disappointed with the reception staff. I asked for extending they didnt do it for me . They asked me to do it online! While i was standing there and already being there for 3 night. I will not recommend it for anyone. If you care about being in a place and being respected Dont Go to Grand Royal hyde park. There was one staff his name was Mohammed Waqar he talk to me in a nice way. Very small room couldn’t open my suitcase Its not for people from Gulf

I really liked the edwardian exterior of the hotel, as well as the dining room and entrance hall which gives off a very luxurious feeling (one of the reasons why I booked a room there in the 1st place), but the single rooms felt like a real downgrade compared to these majestic rooms: they gave me a room on the 8th floor and I was quite shocked to see how tiny and narrow this room was (I don't usually need much space but I still tought this room was a little too narrow for my comfort; they really should have just used the 8th floor as storage rooms instead of turning them into guestrooms in my opinion- it really reminded me of Cinderellas rooftop/attic room in the Disney movie). All the furniture may look luxurious at first glance but once you are sitting on them they don't really feel safe (at least the chair in my room creaked a lot even though I didn't move much), the shower doesn't have a curtain at all but a very narrow glass partition so it is always guaranteed that water will get out once you use the shower which is quite annoying because you have to clean up the spilled water afterwards. Another inconvenience would be that the 8th floor doesn't have an elevator at all so you have to carry your luggage down very narrow halls and stairs (at least the hotel staff is kind enough to carry your luggage upstairs for you when you check-in). Apart from all these inconveniences listed, I think this hotel is in a great position to get to most of London's attractions due to their proximity to 2 Tube lines and buses and is located in a quiter area which is perfect if you want to wind down after a long day of sightseeing and walking. Their breakfast buffet was small but tasty! All in all I think this hotel is an okay choice for those who don't travel for a long period of time (stayed there only 3 nights) but I would suggest looking for another hotel if you plan to stay more than a week in London.
