We booked the Harry Potter escape room for my daughter’s 11th birthday based on the amazing reviews here. For us, the whole experience was fairly mediocre from the unenthusiastic staff member who did the briefing to the actual tasks when inside. There was no real connection to the Harry Potter books and many of the things in the rooms were so random they didn’t appear to have anything to do with solving the puzzle to get out. Compared with other escape rooms we’ve done as a family in Leamington Spa this one is pretty poor, expensive and not very well thought out. We didn’t actually realise we’d completed the task at the end, as my husband just happened to lean on a door and we found ourselves out in a corridor. We weren’t even told what time we achieved or congratulations just to shut the door on our way out! Very strange and a bit disappointing overall.

We’ve just been to Grand Escapes and chose room 1409, definitely the hardest room and needed a lot of clues (we’ve never done an escape room before) but it was fun and Luke was brilliant help. Will definitely be going again but will try an easier room! Thanks again!
