Jen is a fantastic literary agent who negotiated and secured 3 book deals in 3 years for me with Penguin Random House. Not only excellent at communicating with publishers, but also a massive help in turning my ideas into bestselling published works. As an author I highly recommend.

Jane was the perfect person to steer me through the process of getting my first book to be publication-ready. She was incredibly positive and helpful in steering me towards the right publisher, and I admire her bravery in taking on this first time author, writing on a difficult subject and in a non-traditional genre. Having helped me with the book, she found me the perfect publisher, got me a great deal, and has guided and advised me ever since. I can't recommend her highly enough. Jane and Jen are dream agents. They saw the seed of my original idea and transformed my first book into a memoir that won the Big Red Read Prize for Non-Fiction. I have written 13 other titles as part of their stable of authors since, and consider myself extremely lucky to have found such brilliant, professional and inspiring literary agents.

Jen Christie as an absolute legend of an agent. Not only has she helped me understand how the publishing industry works, she has successfully negotiated THREE book deals for me within roughly 18 months of each other (two of which have been bought internationally). These guys really know what they're doing!

Couldn't wish for better agents. Patient, interested, super bright, and gutsy when it's called for. They've managed the impossible - to be agents that both writers and publishers enjoy working with; they've secured at least eight book deals for me in the past three years - totally brilliant.

Working with Jane and Jennifer is amazing. I’m close to my second book deal already just a few weeks after signing with them. Friendly and caring but also extremely professional and impossibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the book industry, including publicity, you really feel as an author that they have got your back. Highly recommended.

Graham Maw Christie have the most fantastic ability to understand the clients they represent. They take time to learn more about the client and to discover how best to present them to prospective publishers. They know the publishing industry inside and out and know how and when to pitch your ideas so they are seen and heard by the right people at the right time. They also provide a very high level of support throughout the process so you do not feel as if you in unfamiliar territory. Thank you in particular to Jane who has supported me throughout 2017. I look forward to the publication of my first 3 books in 2018 and more in the years to come.

Jane Graham-Maw at Graham Maw Christie is a very hard working genius. Writing books is easy. But publishing can be a kind of hell of snakes and ladders with considerably more snakes than ladders. In 19 years as an author I have been (sometimes for ten years and sometimes briefly) with some of the larger agencies in London. These huge agencies are rarely able to give much time or attention to individual authors and have so many clients that they are not able to care much even if they would like to. When I met Jane that changed. I now had an agent who cared about the writing and who was utterly fierce when it came to contract negotiation. She has an eye to detail that has become necessary as changing a word or two in a contract can make a substantial difference to an author's income. She is clear, kind and frankly, exceptional. Couldn't recommend her more highly.
