Great facilities, clean, well fitted out modern buildings, but with period charm, a number of glades for camping, excellent location for walking in the White Peak. Friendly and helpful staff, will look forward to staying here again. Stayed as part of scout group, we had about 40 young people camping, even though it was wet weather, the camp ground wasn't waterlogged, but was firm and good to pitch on. 'The Cottage' was good for a cozy fire and the kitchen well stocked with a good sized double oven and hobs. Highly recommended.

A usual winter haunt for 17th Buxton Scouts. Ideal to have a Scouting weekend in the run up to Christmas, but you need to wrap up warm as it's a pretty chilly building until it warms up.
