I was searching the internet for local dog training..and boy am i gald to find shona at gracious dogs..the initial phone call that was supposed to be for 15 mins was almost an hour and she didn't care or rush..we talked bout my fur baby and what i wanted to get out of the training..we decided first session would be at home and shona gave me lots of pointers and advice we put in place and they worked... The next sessions was at local park i was so nervous and worried about taking her off the lead but she made me feel at ease and off my baby came..her recall was amazing from the get go...we then made the next session for when my husband could make it weither it was out of shonas working days she was like no problem..my hubby came as nervous as me at the start he was also amazed at our baby...shona put all our worries at ease and made us do all the work rather than takin the lead...she was so so supportive and stayed buy our side..i am actually sad that our training ended which shows no pressure on us to pay for more sessions unless we now find we need her..i still find myself sending her videos of our dog even tho our training has ended..she has now become a friend and am sure my fur baby will see her for a walk at the park soon..so.if u are wondering if this is the dog training company for u then i can tell u stop researching and book with shona you will not be disappointed ..x

Shona has been incredible with both the dog and me! We've had trainers in the past who haven't looked beyond the issue itself, whereas Shona has explored the root of the problems and taken it back to basics. But the main thing I love about her approach is that she prioritises keeping the dog comfortable and confident, because that's the best state for them to learn in. In just 3 sessions I've seen massive improvements in my 7 year old toy poodle, and although we have a long way to go we're loving the process, and happy to have fantastic exercises to implement in our daily training. The dog loves her and loves the training too! THANKS Shona. Highly recommend.

We came to Shona for help with our reactive rescue dog George, he had many issues which were complex and needed dealing with. Shona taught us many new ways to understand and deal with George's behaviour. Since working with Shona, George has come on in leaps and bounds and has taken really well to the training methods provided.
