I've trained at many gyms over the years but I can truly say that due to the quality and amount of experienced high level coaches in this gym, my level of Jujitsu has rapidly improved. The students and coaches are caring, forthcoming and willing to help with difficulties you may be facing in or out of the class. There are numerous sessions throughout the week, instructed by skilld, qualified jujitsu practitioners. This provides you some flexibility in which sessions you may want to attend in the week. Whether you want to train jujitsu as a hobby or professionally at a competitive level, this gym will cover your needs due to the sheer amount of experience and knowledge in the gym, with currently 2 black belts, a brown belt and 3 purple belts as dedicated coaches. This is excluding the other high level students that I would happily be a student under in any other gym. The students in the teenage/children classes are a testament to how good the instructors pass on their knowledge, with some teenagers being able to tap me out. I'm glad I found this gym because it's a hidden gem and I wish I found it earlier.

Ju jit su has been a great thing for my children. The instructors here are professional and interact well with kids of all ages. The instructors are very knowledgeable and have a great ability to bring out the best in children of all levels and abilities. They have EARNED the respect of my children. Definitely best one around highly recommend!

Fantastic place to be, great family run business and the best lifestyle change I’ve made for many years… The first step is often the hardest, the prospect of trying something unknown was the most daunting thing for me. From my personal experience you will not regret it and you’ll be welcomed by all professors, coaches, and members equally. There are classes at all times and days to accommodate everyone. A well equipped gym for all your training needs. You have 5 committed black belts who are more than willing to impart their years of knowledge and experience. You will find a great atmosphere, great members and feel part of the team.

I joined Gracie barra Halesowen feb 22 along with my 2 boys 10 and 7 the instructors are fantastic it’s a friendly environment where learning and hard work is encouraged my kids absolutely love it and Iv seen such an improvement in them and I’m so happy we picked Gracie Halesowen the club has become a second home for us

I started at Gracie Barra Halesowen about 3 years ago and I haven’t looked back.I have competed in boxing for years and I also have my own personal training gym where I teach boxing ect . I know from experience that this gym is run to the highest ability of all the professors and coaches. I myself travel from birmingham, as I know this is the best place to get very high level JiuJitsu. Friendly family run gym with a great feel to it . Everyone is welcomed through the doors 👌🏻

My two boys have been here for years. Easily one of the best desicions I've ever made. So many black belts on the mat every session. .. check out their first class social media and see for yourself. Family oriented and always going above and beyond... free acai bowls... extra training... always someone willing to give some extra coaching. The professor is always offering tailored support and advice... you just need to add some discipline and effort. The kids classes are buzzing and they have so much fun. The desk staff are the best 👌

This place used to be really good but has completely nose dived this last year or so. My son progressed a lot when he first joined but this last year he had not progressed at all and in fact was going backwards so we had no choice but to leave. There are just way too many kids and not enough coaches! There’s sometimes 40 kids and about 2 coaches who are either his 2 teenage children or people from his adult class who im not sure are qualified or licensed to teach kids either. The main coach himself is unfortunately more interested in cleaning his car, chatting away to other parents or taking pictures to plaster all over social media rather than teaching the kids, which is a shame as he is really good when he does go on the mat. It seems as this has just become a money making scheme for him now when before it was all about the coaching aspect. I know he will probably reply to this but you know what im on about. If you want your kids to go sit around for an hour then this is the place for you, sadly at the moment it’s not to learn Jiu Jitsu :(
