I'm an adult who believes in Jesus and his love and power not magic.. very welcoming and friendly church that preaches the much needed gospel in these end times . I was not under pressure at all to give .but for those who criticise giving of money ,remember churches are not funded by government and like anything else, the church needs money to pay for the building space rent ,your refreshments (!) and community based outreach/activities amongst much more ...

The most welcoming and friendly church I have ever been a member of, I was at home there from the moment I arrived on my first visit in 2012. The preaching is high quality and firmly bible-based and the worship times meaningful and well orchestrated. The church hold a range of mid-week groups, events and courses for the benefit of both church members and those in the local community. The church are engaged in a number of social action projects locally and internationally. I should state for the purpose of openness in this review, that I am a member of the leadership team at our site in Bognor Regis.

Very sinister. They literally sell you religion in return for tithing a percentage of your household income.

I have been to many churches around the South, and this is the first time I have been compelled to write a review. Nice building, former industrial unit, plenty of parking. Nice people too, BUT personally speaking I found it a bit sinister. Tithing was a large part of the service, and a large part of everything they did when I visited. The New Testament does not give any specific rules about tithing, and most aspects of the Old Testament Law do not apply to Christians. However, Jesus made it clear that we are obligated to be generous to those in need (Matthew 25:31-46). Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. (Matthew 5:42) Giving is to be done cheerfully, rather than as an obligation (2 Corinthians 9:6-7), and not for the purpose of public recognition (Matthew 6:1-4). The amount to give is not necessarily ten percent (Matthew 19:21, Luke 18:22, 21:1-4, Hebrews 13:16, 1 John 3:17). Rather than give a certain amount as an obligation, Christians are urged to share generously of whatever talents, abilities and wealth God has entrusted to them: There is nothing in the Bible saying we should give a certain amount or a certain percentage to a church, yet within 10 minutes I was handed a form asking for personal financial details and income information, which was all a bit full on. Once the service had finished I was put under immense pressure to complete the form and to pledge 10% of my income to the church. I'd recommend anyone go along, as it's lively, and friendly. However be very weary of the financial stuff. They can dress it up however they like but the bible says give what you can, not give what they tell you to
