Firstly Greg and Kerry were an absolute delight - worked extremely well and hard and were polite and respectful. Would highly recommend them to any and everybody. However after having had 2 extensive conversations- zoom calls and face to face meetings with Jeremy work was not completed to what had been agreed. The gentleman sent round to discuss the issue was at first quite rude and insistent that this was what you was quoted for and suggested he would write up a new quote for what had already been agreed with Jeremy. This tactic to generate another invoice bill is not acceptable!!! For this I have to strongly advise avoid using this company as they seem not to be true to their word and have backhanded tactics to get the customer to pay twice for the same job !!! Extremely disappointing and no longer will use the company for regular maintenance- so they have now lost a contract !!!!

We have used GP garden services quite a few times in the past years up until 2020-2021, cutting down a very large tree, stump removal, planting and pointing front patio tiles. Overall they have been fine. Cutting down the tree- they cut down the tree carefully and really well. They didn't cut it to the ground (leaving a 3.5ft tree stump) but as soon as we highlighted it with a photograph(as advised) someone came the next day to cut it down to the ground level but the person forgot to put the poison down as quoted so the tree started growing back. The following year we asked them to remove the tree stump and they did as much as they possibly could with a big digger. They were here for few hrs and after they left our neighbour dug more and removed the deep rooted roots manually. Planting- they knew about plants and trees so knew how it should be done. I didn't need to explain about it. Not many gardeners know alot about plants these days. Pointing the front drive way - They came around saw the driveway and gave us a quote. Followed on they arranged the job to get done. The person who was assigned to do the jet washing did a fantastic job but the person who did the pointing/grouting didn't do a great job probably was in a rush. I rang the office to explain but unfortunately they were not helpful instead was rude and felt they were busy etc so I forwarded some pics of the driveway. Noone came around to clean and clear up for over a week and we couldn't/didn't want to use the driveway for that period, felt it would make it worse but we kept GP informed. We had to find parking for 3 cars up the road for over a week which at times wasn't easy as its a busy road but we managed so it was ok. They send one team, they saw the work and tried to clean but it didn't come off so they left. We received invoices few times to pay for the work so we explained the job is not complete. Instead of understanding the situation they were chasing us for a payment saying to pay for jet washing so we explained the main job was to grout the tiles and its not complete and didn't know when it will be done. They contacted us back said they can get it jet washed well so the same person came from GP the second time and jet washed the messy grout and he washed it really well, we gave our patio cleaner as well to help. GP said they will not do the pointing work and their accounts team asked us to pay for the jet washing and we did as we didn't want anyone to be out of pocket. Ordered and delivered Plants during lockdown as soon as it was legal! Good value for money bright friendly driver who brought them into the back garden (via the side entrance) very reasonable price..AND they are still giving me pleasure all these months later!! As always GP used their initiative to provide for the needs of their customers who were shielding or reluctant to go out shopping for non essential goods. However, were able to occupy themselves in the garden with brilliant pleasing lasting results. Thank you GP
