The best thing since sliced bread. Always available, easy to talk to, great service. A great relief after battling for years with local GP surgery to get an appointment or even just talk to a GP. An easy app to bypass annoying surgery gatekeepers and go straight to the help needed. The regular NHS should check with GP at Hand to see how it is done. Can't recommend highly enough.

I honestly do not understand how this service is still going. They are absolutely awful and incompetent. Constantly loosing private documents, not updating themselves, doctors pushing back on helping you or blatantly refuse to help you and hang up. I've been trying to explain I absolutely need a repeat prescription for days, I'm unable to carry on with my treatment but they just don't understand.

I wanted to say how amazing both the receptionists are at the Victoria GP at Hand clinic. Brianna Finlayson and Clara Chilupe were so lovely and accommodating. They really helped me out and are such an asset to the clinic. I cannot express how much I appreciate their kindness and professionalism. I was finally able to make my ECG appointment due to their helpfulness - thank you so, so much!

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the receptionists at "GP at Hand" in Lille road. In couple of my recent visits to the surgery, I have found the receptionists to be extremely rude and unprofessional. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and empathy, and unfortunately, this has not been the case. I hope that this review can bring attention to the issues I have experienced and prompt the necessary changes to be made. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism, and I believe that all patients who visit this GP surgery deserve the same.

This is the Best Doctors. My experience has been over the last 3-4 years. All my online appointments are practically immediate. The same day or next day or 2. All my face to face appointments have been with an expert or specialist in that department. All the nurses and doctors have been extremely caring and thoughtful. I would say they work without limits in their approach to my health. On 1 occasion about 3 years ago I was struggling with complex mental health problems. The nature of my mental health issues made it difficult for all community health teams to take me as a patient. Because of this GP at hand rang me every 3 days to check on my health. These phone calls would last 45 mins or longer. I would say that if it was not for GP at hand back then giving me care, my current situations would be much worse. Unfortunately I keep needing a Dr. And have had over 40 appointments in the last 3 years or so. I constantly praise my Dr surgery to other people. I am very sure that the service GP at hand is a service that our government should look to for advice on how to solve our countries appalling GP service. By far the majority of people have a rubbish GP surgery. Where as these Dr surgery only need to follow the exact model of GP at hand. GP at hand are experts at giving an outstanding service. The staff at GP at hand are offered the opportunity to give thoughtful care to the patient without ridiculous time constraints. Therefore allowing the GP to think clearer and therefore be able to find the path to better health quicker. I honestly cannot say enough good about this surgery. I highly recommend them. Before I thought they were excellent for online appointments, but not so good for face to face appointments. I thought this as the travelling to the surgeries was always far and therefore seemed inconvenient. However I have since learned that when you go to these face to face appointments, they are actually with a specialist. I strongly suggest that our government learns from this surgery and gives these guidelines to others to follow.

Used this service for years now, has huge benefits than using a normal GP as can speak with doctors and nurses within days. However recently I’ve had issues with a referral from an illness which occurred In January. Someone from the admin team booked me into the incorrect clinic for my referral and I now have to wait until June to be seen. These are small mistakes but they shouldn’t happen given the delays the nhs already has. My referral is considered ‘ urgent’ yet I have to wait 2 more months.
