What is your staff to child ratio?
Our staff to child ratio is in line with the government's regulations and guidelines. For children under two years old, there is one staff member for every three children. For children aged two to three, there is one staff member for every four children. For children aged three to five, there is one staff member for every eight children. What is your policy on sick children attending the creche?
We have a strict policy that sick children cannot attend the creche. If a child is unwell, they must stay at home until they are fully recovered to prevent the spread of illness to other children and staff members. What programs do you offer for children of different ages?
We offer a range of programs and activities tailored to the different age groups of children in our care. For infants and toddlers, we focus on sensory play, exploration, and building relationships with caregivers. For preschool-aged children, we incorporate more structured learning activities, such as language and math development, as well as social and emotional learning. What are your policies on health and safety?
We have comprehensive policies and procedures in place to ensure the health and safety of all children and staff members. This includes regular cleaning and disinfecting of the facilities, frequent hand washing and sanitizing, and strict adherence to food safety guidelines. We also conduct regular risk assessments to identify and address any potential hazards. Additionally, all staff members are trained in first aid and emergency procedures.Reviews

We sent our daughter here for a year when we lived in the area and would highly recommend it! The kids go for a walk along the lane every day, see the cows and have a great time playing outside. Everyone who works here is really welcoming and caring. Our daughter had a great year and looked forward to going to nursery every day - she still asks if she can go back to Goulton Grange!

My daughter goes to this farm nursery and they are so fabulous. The staff are all so friendly and it has a great family feel. You always get updates on their day, splashing in puddles and getting creative with crafts. She couldnt have a better time. I feel so happy leaving her there knowing she will have a great day.

"Upon visiting Goulton Grange last year we knew straight away it was the right place to send our little one. For our outdoor loving child the setting is just perfect, the facilities are great and the staff are unbelievable. Emily and the team offer the most caring and friendly environment and make you feel part of their big nursery family. The digital parent app we can use is very helpful and reassuring during our nursery days, keeping us updated and offers easy communication features with the staff. A huge thank you for everything you're all doing and for making our little one's nursery experience wonderful so far. We absolutely love it here! Chris and Ali x"

My son started Goulton Grange when he was 9 months old and left when he was 3, but if we had the option of keeping him here before school we would have! He absolutely loved it and still talks fondly about the staff and the friends he made there. One of the best features of Goulton (aside from the amazing staff!) Is how it's on a farm, so the kids get to interact with animals! They go for walks up the path to see the cows as well as the occasional baby cow, and often helping get Barbara the goat back into her field as she's quite an escape artist! If there's anyone in the area looking at childcare options I fully recommend Goulton!

I cannot recommend this establishment enough. My son is nearly two and the ladies at goulton grange have made him ecstatic at the thought of nursery! He has gone from crying tantrums at nursery drop off (another place) to helping pack his bag and cannot get through the door quick enough. They have an amazing setting and you could not ask for more caring and genuinely passionate staff. I honestly love how settled he is and he just beams now, I cannot thank them enough. My work day is no longer filled with guilt and worry, he just absolutely loves it! Thank you so much!
