This place is a gem for dog walkers. So peaceful and stunning. Plenty of parking, cafe inside (don't think they allow pooches) lovely rose garden. Nice walks along the canal are optional.

Great for walking our dog, best and safest place is to stick to the fairways as the golfers are rubbish and either slice into the trees or the other side.

I don't play golf but I have walked round several times and then called into the club house for coffee and a breakfast. After a short closure the social night returned for a quiz a game of bingo raffle and play your cards right. It would be nice to see a few more faces though.

Tough course, very unforgiving, but interesting. Some greens are now in woeful condition due to continual vandalism, police not willing or able to apprehend the quad bikers. Dog walkers and the general public totally disregard the requirements not to walk across the course, putting themselves, their children and their dogs in danger. If the vandals could be kept off the course, it would recover quickly in spring. Fees are very reasonable and they try hard to promote themselves as the all-inclusive club that they are. Golf is for everyone! The hardworking volunteer groundsmen & office staff try hard to keep the club going.
