After much research online, I still couldn't decide which would be the best battery-powered cordless lawnmower for me, so I went with the recommendation from their 'Best Battery Lawn Mower For Small Gardens' buyers' guide on their website's Help & Advice section. I went for the Mountfield Electress 34 Li cordless lawnmower. It's great to mow the grass without worrying about accidentally mowing over the mains electric cable, plus I can wheel it down the road to do the paths on our allotment. Putting the mower together was straightforward once I looked at the instruction manual. The only slight issue was where the handle had rubbed some of the paint off on the handlebars in transit due to how the manufacturer packaged the machine, but it's not a big deal, as it doesn't show, and it is a garden machine, after all. The front battery needs a hard push to get it to click in compared to the 2nd battery, but again, no big hardship. One of its best features is the single handle to adjust the mowing height, which is brilliantly engineered. Overall it's an excellent budget-friendly mower, and the GoToMow Team provided helpful advice. Highly recommended.
