Hidden gem just at bottom of sutton bank , not very easy unfortunately to access it used to be more easy to get to but well worth the adventure.

Nice circular walk down to the reed fringed lake of gormire surrounded by woods below Sutton bank with plenty of wildlife and birds to see . Climbing back through the woods and up the escarpment onto the Cleveland way and back to your car at Sutton bank

As it claimed," One of the finest view in UK". And it's true. A different walking experience. Water is quite warm and not too cold. Good for swiming and jogging or cycling. It's approximately 2 miles each way and depending upon your speed you need 3-4 h9urs to complete the circle. You will not forget this experience for rest of your life.

Beautiful lake with first right up to the edge makes for some really beautiful scenic views. Even saw some wild swimmers while I was there, so bring a towel.

It's a lake:) amongst the trees. Can walk all the way round. No picnic places, seats etc as far as we could see. We sat on our coats on the ground which was ok. Observed it was ok for wild water swimming@
