I'm an asthma patient who has had no check ups or follow ups. The surgery says untill they receive paper work they can't see me. Even though I've been to acute medicine centre who also were limited in what the could percribe. I was told emergency medicine would run out. But they say they can't see me. So on and out of an acute situation again.

Staff are helpful but it feels like they're working against their own system. There's no way to book an appointment online, phone lines cut off randomly whilst on hold and prescriptions only issued for 2months at a time. If it wasn't for how kind the staff are usually (especially reception) then it would be 1 star.

I needed an appointment so I rang around 8AM, after 25 min I talked to the lovely receptionist and managed one on the same day. Everything went smoothly and the Dr. and nurse that saw me and took my bloods were caring and professional. Did bloods the same day after the consultation as thought urgent. This is the second time that Gordon Street managed to help me in a rush. Last time I even passed out due to being weak from a pharynge infection and everyone was so helpful and nice. I'm alone in this country and it gets scary to be ill but so far I´ve been lucky with my experiences. I know sometimes things don't work their best but I think It's only fair to compliment when they do. Thank you everyone.

What an shocking doctors surgery. You wait hours on the phone to only be told there’s no appointments and to phone back later. This doctors shouldn’t even be allowed to be in service. If it closed down I actually wouldn’t be surprised. What a joke. Sort your phone lines out

Been trying to get an appointment for days, can't even make it into the queue to speak to anyone. Service has gone from disgusting to absolute negligence. One year on, edit. 3 visits to the pharmacy because the surgery can't print the prescription right. Doctor calling me saying my prescription would be in on Tues, but visit to the chemist who don't know anything about it, reception staff who don't even apologise when u tell them you've been running around all week because of the surgeries incompetency. Nothing changes, still a 1 out of 10000 surgery

I moved to Burton a year ago and was reluctant to join this practice due to reviews. However my entire family have always been treated fairly and promptly. My daughter has always been seen on the day I called for an appointment. I know they get awful reviews for getting through on the phone however I called at 0800 on Tuesday, had an appointment by 0804 and and a face to face appointment with the doctor at 0930. Very impressed. Receptionists lovely. We should cherish our NHS and the staff that work in it.

Why make everyone sit through someone talking for 2 minutes to then be told that there's too many people in the queue, and to call back later? Why not just tell us immediately, or immediately drop the call?
