I was scouring a soggy Skipton for 2.75mm double pointed needles and losing hope till Purl & Jane appeared on Google. Tucked away behind the main street it is an absolute find for knitting supplies, a warm, friendly welcome and sound advice. It isn't a huge place but it has original wools, some of which are Purl & Jane dyed. It's a pity it is not on my doorstep or I would be a regular customer.

We had a day trip to Bolton Abbey my son the dog and I. My son knows I love wool shops so we went to Skipton to visit this one. Lovely shop great choice bought yarn I’d not get anywhere else and a yarn box. Very happy will be back next time we are in the area. 😘
