Dell recently fitted laminate flooring in a room in my house. I can only confirm and repeat what everyone else has said in the other reviews on here! When he came to do the estimate, I immediately felt he was a proper professional who knows what he’s doing and with that, he is a genuine and friendly person. His experience in the industry means he can see well in advance where the ‘problem’ areas may be and what additional things will need to be done . e.g. adjustment of door, dealing with radiator pipes. He worked hard to get the room finished within a day and was an extremely considerate worker - no tidying up necessary on my part. I highly recommend using Dell - he is very attentive to detail and takes great pride in the finished product. The room looks fantastic - Thank you Dell! Service: Laminate floor installation

Called to enquire on behalf of my elderly mum and the man on the phone was rude and very unhelpful. He was so disinterested, I can only assume he must be a millionaire and doesn't need the money. Had he been somewhat helpful or polite, I would have at least considered him for parquet throughout my house and my other properties.

His attention to detail to his craft is something I really appreciated, as he wants to get the very best results possible. He won’t leave something that he feels is not up to his very high standard. His quality craftsmanship is evident in the end result, which looks brilliant. He has a lot of experience in the business and is very knowledgeable and he will give you honest assessments of any job, which again helps a great deal in achieving the best end result. I specifically contacted Good Wood Flooring / Dell to quote based on Google Reviews. From the initial email communication, he was helpful and provided an estimate prior to a site survey so I knew roughly what to expect. His site visit was friendly, and he provided advice on scotia finishings and fitting arrangements. Furthermore, he kept to his desktop quote unlike other contractors who have reputations to find extra costs. Once the fitting was scheduled, Dell arranged another visit the day before starting to drop off his tools, run through everything and make sure everything was in good order before he started so there wasn’t any issues. He advised me that he likes jobs to be done properly so if it takes him extra day or two, he will not rush and won’t charge for the time / the days it takes. The work was finished perfectly within 3 working days, fitting roughly 60sqm of flooring and underlay. As I work in Central London, Dell arranged a handover meeting at a time and day that suited me. It is also worth mentioning that Dell does clean up after himself, which many contractors often forget to do. I am really pleased with the job and would highly recommend Dell’s services.
