Steve and his staff at Good Food Story all contributed to providing a wonderful 3-course meal for our guests from Coutances, France, as part of the twinning group's visit to Ilkley. We had canapés in the downstairs historical area of Ilkley Manor House, followed by 3 courses, served in the Manor House's Western Gallery. The food, presentation and service were all hailed as a massive success by some very discerning diners! Thank you, Steve, and all your team for a wonderful evening!

Myself and my now-husband are both vegan, so when we were planning our wedding, we wanted our food to be vegan too. We were recommended Good Food Story by our venue, and we're so glad they did! They made a fully vegan menu for us, and it all tasted so amazing that the non-vegans couldn't even tell. Not only that, but they got involved with our Marvel theme, and wore masks to deliver our desserts. It was such a lovely touch, everyone is still talking about it! Thank you all!

We honestly can't speak highly enough of the service Good Food Story provided for our wedding last May at Skipton Castle and Bolton Abbey Village Hall. They came recommended and more than lived up to the hype! An amazing selection of incredibly delicious and beautifully presented food, and staff who were knowledgeable, highly experienced and super nice. They were willing to be really flexible and responsive to our preferences, so lots of guests commented on how personal our wedding breakfast felt (as well as how tasty it was!) - and we were able to relax because GFS ensured that everything ran smoothly and to time, across the two venues. We already had an idea of what we wanted our meal to look and taste and they exceeded our expectations. With their Fantastic team, their service and presentation, we would not hesitate to recommend GFS to anyone. They essentially coordinated everything from the moment our guests arrived at the drinks reception right through to the end of the night. They ensured my wife and I always had a drink in our hand and food brought to us during our drinks reception, always conscious that the bride and groom are so busy saying hello to all their guests. We had the absolute pleasure of having GFS to cater for our wedding in 2022. I always envisioned having GFS to be part of our Yorkshire marquee wedding and couldn't have done it without their hard work and support. Each and every single one of them are responsive, attentive and professional but also kind, patient and understanding. No job is too big and no task is too small. They kept me at ease throughout planning for a wedding in where the whole lead up was the pandemic. Steve, Alex, Rachel and Isabel are kind, understanding, professional and thorough. They go above and beyond to ensure your day represents who you are as a couple. The food is out of this world, high quality, locally sourced. We opted for the bbq selection as with large numbers of guests we thought we would go for something something yummy, but simple. Yes it was yummy but no means simple! their attention to detail is extraordinary. The food was cooked perfectly - it was fresh, the portions were AMAZING! Their presentation was sublime and they work around you to make sure that that serving and supporting you in the day is a blended approach. They were life savers, to not only being my very own personalised wedding co-ordinators, bar staff, cake fixers, table planners, food makers. They work with you to ensure your day is brought to life and do it in a way you feel like they truly are celebrating every moment with you. The Good Food Story were absolutely phenomenal! They catered our wedding last year in the Yorkshire Dales. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish, clear communications, great menu to taste and choose from and utmost professionalism at the wedding. On the day our guests could not believe the fantastic quality of the food - we received so many comments in the following weeks, with the lamb being the star of the show, and cheese platter following up in second place.
