Great selection of cheeses and liked the idea of a cheese and wine session. Very helpful staff and really appreciated being able to taste a couple of the cheeses before buying. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing! What cheese dreams are made of! Wonderful customer service, no pressure into buying, you can try before you buy (I'll warn you, it becomes a slippery slope and you'll buy more than you intend too because of delicious the cheeses are) also they're very knowledgeable on their produce too. I really enjoyed the chutney and onions paired on my cheese board. Highly recommend and will most certainly come back with friends and family. In fact I'll be telling everyone I meet about this place! It's also not overall expensive which makes it even better to grab your choice of cheese for the perfect board. Oh they have a website too šŸ˜€

Me and my friend had the tasting platter of cheese, charcuterie and wine. The man serving (think the owner) took time to carefully explain each item, and had written the name of each cheese on board so we could remember which was which. Even sourced some grapes when my friend asked! Really attentive (but not overbearing) service, beautiful items and relaxed atmosphere. What not to like! Will definitely return when back in the area.

Knowledgeable young man behind the counter (I think he was the owner) very happy to help and pass on his knowledge and recommendations to a pair of cheese novices. I think it was reasonably priced for locally made artisan cheeses. Will definitely make the trip up again (Manchester) to buy more!

Donā€™t normally leave bad reviews but just had the most awful experience here. The guy serving was just plain rude. He first ignored me in favour of serving the guy behind and when the man said ā€œthis young lady is firstā€ I was then begrudgingly served but the guy serving was just rude and un co-operative while serving me. He made it very obvious heā€™d rather I wasnā€™t in the store. He refused to cut me a bit of goats cheese because he said he couldnā€™t open a new log for me when I didnā€™t want the last end piece. Itā€™s the 23rd December - I am sure heā€™ll sell ALLOT of cheese today and opening a log wouldnā€™t be a big deal. I didnā€™t order half of what I meant to and am really annoyed with myself that I bought anything. I wish I had walked away rather than let myself be treated so badly. Drove down to calder cheese in Tod and was served by a lovely, helpful man. Will never darken the door of Goo again, which wonā€™t bother them because they made it very clear they donā€™t want the likes of me in their store.
