There are lots of companies offering to arrange golf breaks BUT I was absolutely delighted with the service that I received from Matt, Kim and the Golf Escapes team. This was the first golf break that I have ever been on/organised and therefore I was probably a pain in the arse with my questions. Nothing was too much trouble for the Golf Escapes team – everything was organised brilliantly and the communication from them was first-class. The trip went exactly as they promised – from transfers, arrival, the resort itself (Amendoeira Golf Resort Algarve), the courses, all the way through to transfers back to the airport. I just wish the golf we played did it justice. I thoroughly recommend Golf Escapes.

The holiday at the Abama in Tenerife was very good and the arrangements made by Golf Escapes were excellent. The golf course is very good (although unfortunately there was no Starter or Course Marshall) as was the standard of service at the hotel. Expect, however, the cost of meals in the various hotel restaurants to be somewhat expensive, particularly the Japanese restaurant!
