Takes hours to get through on phone to report a repair and to report an emergency! Took 3 days for emergency repair to be done to boiler last week after being told on first phone call it’ll be done within 24hours, I didn’t even hear back so reported it for 2nd time and same thing happened nothing heard back even though told it’d be with 24 hours so had to report it for the 3rd time as again as emergency and 3 days later it’s done but I’m having to report it as emergency repair again 6 days later as it’s broken again as not done correctly first time! So What happens if a pipe bursts?…you have to wait hours to get through to report it on telephone while the house is flooding and and possibly 3 days until an emergency plumber/ gas engineer arrives??? The house had an electrical test 14 days ago and within the time of moving in just days after this electrical test I’ve found a socket hanging off wall and only one fixing screw, plus a 16” large hole in plasterboard wall in kitchen with exposed wires and another leaking pipe, also a leaking radiator pipe, a front door that doesn’t lock, a boiler that has stopped working for the 2nd time in a week after not being fixed properly it’s still lost pressure and has a leaking filling loop pipe which the repairman didn’t even notice so now I’m waiting again for the emergency repair on a boiler that’s not working with a leaking filling loop! Had to complain and contact housing ombudsman as goldings are an absolute shambles of a housing association! The worst when it comes to repairs getting sorted!

Masters at the art of fobbing off. Even the smallest of issues takes multiple calls to even start to get looked at. The girls on the phone line are very friendly and make you think it is going to be passed on and you will "get a call back". The issues lies with the so-called housing officers who are strangely are always "out of the office" or "in a meeting".
