This place is beautiful. We had never owned a caravan and decided to look into buying one. We went to quite a few sites before coming to Golden Leas. We first met Emma who answered the million questions we had. Emma even answered messages when she wasn’t working, just to reassure us and explain everything in detail. Buying a static was a big thing for us and Emma made it enjoyable and exciting instead of scary. Since we’ve been on the site we have been made to feel so welcome by staff and other owners. We now spend as much time as we can here, we love it.

We were looked at Golden Leas with a view to buying a caravan. Richie and Kieran were both really helpful and showed us around the site and a few suitable static caravans. They welcomed the many questions we had and Richie was so quick to answer his phone one suspects it must be glued to his hand! The park itself has recently been taken over by a company Lovat Parks and from what we could gather has undergone a major upgrade in the past couple of years. The park is owners only and there is no subletting allowed. We visited the site on three occasions and found this approach creates a very friendly atmosphere with many owners telling us how happy they were on the park and seemed proud to tell us of the recent improvements. There are solar panels on the club house and they have their own garden where plants are grown to place around the park. This self sufficient model is not only environmentally friendly but I suspect will serve to keep pitch fees at a reasonable level in the future. We absolutely loved Golden Leas and if it hadn’t been for personal issues we would have definitely bought a static caravan here. In fact we had a deposit on a van when we had to pull out. Richie was really understanding and helpful. We would highly recommend you viewing Golden Leas. Even if you have viewed it in the past and it wasn’t for you, the upgrades may well prove attractive. With a restaurant, bar, entertainment bar, heated outdoor pools, gym and plenty of activities for the kids, what’s not to like? The pitch fees are also very reasonable for the facilities that you get and you would find it hard to find a cheaper pint on the Isle of Sheppey.
