I can't praise this local company enough. They offered me a great selection of stone for my new kitchen and having selected a piece from their warehouse over six months ago, they kept it for me without any attempt to hurry me along. When it came to be fitted I was invited down to see it being be cut and the granite was installed the next day by two very professional fitters. The new granite worktop had transformed the kitchen and while it's not a cheap option the quality was worth every penny. Paul Hogan.

After a good start, our experience wasn't so positive from the time of the installation onwards. There were a number of disappointments including: 1. After agreeing to do it, they did NOT attach the tap before fixing the granite so we now have no cupboard back under the sink because our builder had to cut it out to install the tap afterwards. 2. The colour and finish was not what we expected and we'd NOT been told we were entitled to view (and reject) the actual slab BEFORE it was cut. 3. The overhangs are inconsistent and less than the expected 20mm is a problem for us. 4. The underside of the breakfast bar is just raw. It has a dusty, chalky feel and collects black marks from oily fingers (See photo). We expected it would be polished and were not even offered the choice. Most disappointing was the dismissive approach to our concerns. They chased hard for the balance with little interest in making us happy. Having sought legal advice we agreed a settlement. Wouldn't recommend.

Having completed our recent building project, I would only recommend two people, our electrician and the Go for Granite team. The gentleman that came and measured up , Paul and the team that fitted it Rick & Rich were prompt, quick, capable and charming. They were a delight to work with and I'd highly recommend... Shame I can't say the same about the rest of the tradespeople we worked with.
