One of the big brand carpets shop asked me to wait 2 weeks for the measurement and 3 weeks for the fitting is a joke. Another big brand not send a surveyor to measure before ordering is a little scared. So I ended up going to this local store and was amazed! This company did better quality, better price and faster service than those big brand carpets shops. Highly recommended!

Very satisfied with this company. I bought a sisal country-style carpet with fitting, and to my surprise found that all-in it was just as cheap as at Homebase. Godalming Carpets & Flooring came out for a free home-sizing visit before a purchase had been made, and they provided some useful advice. The fitter was prompt, tidy and skilled. They flawlessly fitted a very technical setup of some stairs and two bedrooms, including laying carpet around an awkward-shaped wardrobe and down a long, 5cm-wide strip (too narrow for hands). The result far exceeded my expectations. The showroom itself was well-lit, and conveniently located withing walking distance of Godalming town centre, just towards Guildford. There's a deceptive amount of parking at the showroom, so it's suitable for anyone in the Guildford and Godalming area. See the after and before photos below.

Barry was rather rude to me and about my property. Given the chance to apologise he hasn't bothered. It's over two months since the carpet was fitted and I'm still waiting! I'd recommend finding a less supercilious carpet supplier if I were you. I won't be using Godalming carpets again, as I get the impression Barry treats younger people who are female in this way often. Very condescending.
