Baso I’m a collage student not making much money and I needed to get a taxi home, so I made a booking and it took a overcharge of money, after like half hour trying to sort it out they booked at taxi for me (still had to pay) but apparently i will get my money back. The people were a great help it was just very stressful to deal with at the time especially since they’ve always been great, this just was upsetting and unreliable

Very disappointing service! I can see on some reviews, people are saying they are cheaper, which is easy to be when they don't even show up!! We were heading on honeymoon, had the train booked and a flight to catch, so we thought sure let's get a taxi to the train station and have a total stress free journey. So I booked the taxi the morning before (over 24hra before)and it all seemed booked and fine on my app and I also got an email. On the day, we saw a go Carz car pass our house at our collection time and went to wait outside as we thought they had gone to turn or something. After waiting for 5mins, I decided to call go Carz and the person on the phone was so unhelpful really, said they would see what they could do but when booked on the app you're not a priority basically! After another half hour the taxi was still nowhere to be seen so I called again and the second person was rude and advised pretty much that nothing had been done from the first call. So although I had a time etc booked, my booking didn't stand is what I was told because I booked on the app - surely this should be sent in the email message, I would have happily called to book if I knew this was the better way! Anyway, we decided to go to the train station in our car, after having to pack in all our luggage etc., and loads of time lost now too! The taxi called at 17:10 to say they were at the house and we had booked them for 15:50. So what was meant to be a lovely relaxing start to our honeymoon was not - will never use this service again!!!!

Booked at taxi on the app at 3PM to pick up at 9:30PM, called them at 9:15PM to ask about payment and they told me that my taxi had been cancelled because there weren't any drivers available. We had around 4 cars booked for different people so I asked if this means they are all cancelled and was told that all of the taxis everyone had booked were cancelled. My boyfriend phoned them from a different phone asking to book a taxi from the exact same place to the same destination and they said that was fine and the taxi was booked? I don't understand the logic of this company, it seems you can't pre book taxis with them anymore because they'll tell you it's confirmed when you book it but they simply cannot guarantee there will be a driver available at the time you pre book for. Sounds like they overbook themselves and then pick and choose which jobs they want to fulfill. Makes very little sense to run a taxi company this way. If I hadn't have called them I probably wouldn't have even been notified that the taxis were cancelled. Don't recommend unless you want to believe your taxi is booked all day and then end up walking!
